what2post ("what2post", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website what2post.ai and related services (collectively, the "Service") — a content inspiration and performance-calibration tool for creators. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and store it, when we share it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address, name, and profile picture through our authentication provider.
Profile information. Information you provide during onboarding or in settings, such as your content niche, target audience, platforms you publish on, and topic preferences.
Usage information. Basic records of how you use the Service (for example, topics generated, features used, and email delivery status) so we can operate and improve the product.
Publicly available content data. We collect publicly available statistics about content on platforms such as YouTube (for example, video titles, view counts, and channel statistics) to surface trends and performance insights.
Connected platform data (with your consent). If you choose to connect a platform account (such as YouTube), we access data from that account as described in Section 2.
The Service uses YouTube API Services to collect public video statistics and, if you explicitly connect your YouTube account via Google sign-in, to access data about your own channel. By using these features you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
If you connect your YouTube account, we access — on a read-only basis — your channel details (such as channel name and subscriber count) and associate your channel with publicly available metadata and statistics for its uploaded videos (such as titles, publish times, views, likes, and comments). We use this data to build a performance baseline for your account, to generate and calibrate content recommendations and predictions, and to show you "prediction vs. actual" retrospectives. We never post, edit, or delete anything on your channel.
We store this data on our servers as time-stamped snapshots for as long as your account remains connected, because historical performance series are required for calibration. If you disconnect your YouTube account or delete your what2post account, we delete the associated YouTube user data within 30 days, except for aggregated, anonymized statistics that can no longer be linked to you or your channel.
what2post's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can revoke what2post's access to your Google/YouTube data at any time from the Google security settings page or by disconnecting the account inside the Service.
If you choose to connect an Instagram Professional account, the Service uses the Instagram API with Instagram Login. You authorize this connection directly through Instagram. Instagram's handling of your information is described in the Instagram Privacy Policy.
With your permission, we access basic information about the connected account, such as its Instagram user ID, username, name, follower count, and media count. We also access information about media published by that account, which may include media IDs, captions, media type, publish time, permalinks, thumbnails or media URLs, likes, and comments. For eligible media, we access performance insights such as views, shares, saves, reach, and total interactions. Some fields or insights may not be available for every media type or older item.
We use this Instagram data to display your connected account and media history, build an account-specific performance baseline, track performance over time, calibrate content predictions, and show you prediction-versus-actual retrospectives. The integration is read-only: what2post does not publish, edit, or delete content on your Instagram account and does not access accounts you have not authorized.
We store the access token in encrypted form and store connected account information, media metadata, and time-stamped performance snapshots on our secured infrastructure while needed to provide these features. Disconnecting Instagram inside the Service stops future collection and removes the stored access token. You may also remove what2post from Instagram's connected apps settings.
To delete Instagram data previously collected by what2post, use Meta's user-data-deletion process or contact us at t01090193297@gmail.com. A verified deletion request removes the associated Instagram account profile, media records, performance snapshots, and access tokens. We complete verified requests within 30 days. Meta-initiated deletion requests receive a confirmation code and status URL.
We do not sell Instagram data, use it for third-party advertising, or share it except with service providers as necessary to operate the Service or when required by law.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service — such as cloud hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery providers — under agreements that restrict their use of your data, or when required by law. We may share aggregated, anonymized statistics that cannot identify you. We never sell personal data, YouTube user data, or Instagram data. We never share YouTube user data or Instagram data with third parties except as necessary to operate the Service or comply with law.
Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access is restricted to authorized personnel, and API credentials and tokens are stored encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at t01090193297@gmail.com. We will complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request.
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Service to function, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date, and for material changes we will notify you through the Service or by email.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or our data practices, contact us at t01090193297@gmail.com.
